Revealed the secret behind the sudden escalation of the Minister of Human Rights over the past week ... Maonah Association, along with some human rights organizations exposes the goal of the open political game by the Minister of Human Rights and its organizations about the need to form a government committee to investigate the crimes in 2011, also reiterated its appeal to the Human Rights Council the implementation of its previous resolutions and the opening of investigations in all the international terrorism crimes that took place in Yemen. The Maonah Association for Human Rights said in a press statement issued tonight: it strongly condemns the intensive activities that are not innocent and carried out by the Minister of Human Rights of Yemen with some Yemeni human rights organizations, “belonging to the JMP that is a partner in the government" during the last week in order to form a Yemeni government committee to conduct independent investigations into the events of 2011, as what has been announced. The association said in its statement: The goal of the activities of the minister about this particular subject was politically motivated and not like what is announced and which is rejected and not innocent, as the fact that the minister and the partner organizations but aims to prevent the issuance of an "expected" decision for the formation of the Committee on international investigations to investigate the heinous terrorist crimes that took place in Yemen, and on top of these crimes is the crime on the presidency mosque and the massacre of the seventy meter field and other terrorist crimes that have already been condemned by the Security Council and the United Nations resolutions and clear and demanded prosecution of those involved, after it was proven to the international community that the Yemeni judiciary unable to work on its own during the last period, which means it has become imperative for the international community to issue a decree to form the international investigations Committee in these terrorist crimes like the Court of the Hariri assassination, and therefore, the movements and human rights minister above - at this particular time - comes in favor of political parties and religious extremist domestic and international involved in these terrorist crimes and the fear of the internationalization of the investigations and no impunity, the Association believes that these activities of the Minister and their game is exposed and a throwing dust on the eyes in front of the international community to be drugged before the Human Rights Council session in Geneva in next September, and that this game by the minister has become absurd to everyone, and not only that but they expose those parties and terrorist involved which the minister belong to this "political" direction and that are afraid of the internationalization of investigations of the terrorism crimes that took place in Yemen .. . The association said in its statement: It is for this purpose it had delivered to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations in Geneva, a request from the Human Rights Council on the situation in Yemen for the issuance of a decision to open international investigations in all the crimes of terrorism that took place in Yemen, and in implementation of the resolutions and recommendations of the United Nations Human Rights Council previously issued in this regard and that have not yet been implemented, despite the commitment of the Government of Yemen to implement, not to mention the inability of the local Yemeni judiciary for providing justice to victims of terrorist crimes and the reasons are many and well known, which led to the increase and doubling of terrorist offenses in Yemen as a result of impunity for terrorists and their associates from deterrent punishment, and the association said in a statement: that the most prominent of these terrorist crimes to be investigated internationally are: The massacre of the terrorist attack on the seventy meter field in Sana’a on May 21, 2012, and the massacre of the terrorist attack to members of the Yemeni army in the Dows valley in Abyan province on March 8, 2012, and the crime of terrorist attack on the presidential compound Mosque in Sana’a on June 3, 2011. The press release issued on July 25, 2012 said: The Association and organizations that have raised the demand has already established its above request on several international legal grounds and most important decisions of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations issued in its previous sessions, as well as the international legitimacy resolutions and the provisions of international law and to the realistic data and facts that are notably on the ground: Terrorism and extremism posed by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is the terrorism of an international multi-national and cross-border and therefore must be confronted by international tribunal mechanics that on the one hand, on the other hand because of the disability and paralysis suffered by the Yemeni judiciary, along with the security services of Yemen in the considering and follow up the perpetrators of terrorist crimes and their prosecution, as is the case in the their manifest inability in the crime of terrorist attack on the presidency mosque on June 3 of last year and which have not taken any serious measures so far, despite the lapse of more than a year on the incident, which led and lead to the renewed and increase in activity and volume of crimes by terrorist groups, " multinational in Yemen," the latest of which was the crime of genocide, atrocities committed by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which killed about 100 people and wounding nearly three hundred people, employees of the Central Security Forces of the Yemeni army in the seventy meter field in Sana’a on 21 last May as they were doing rehearsals for the purpose of the military parade to celebrate the National Day of Yemen on May 22. In conclusion, the Association statement appealed to all human rights organizations, local and international for the solidarity with them in the request to the Human Rights Council to issue a decision to open international investigations in all the crimes of terrorism that took place in Yemen and in implementation of the international legitimacy resolutions and to save the Yemen and the world from the threat of international terrorism multi-national and cross-border, which has almost full control over Yemen and threatens international peace and security in the passive position of spectators and the international community, which will only issue statements of condemnation and denunciation.
